Affordable and works really well

While I do not do that much anymore, it has come in handy to test SD card drive speeds and to provide ethernet to my work laptop that does not have one built-in. I am about to do some more testing with it on my phone and just seems like a nice to have around for various use-cases.

The ability to plug in an external power supply is also exceptional. Not one of the cheapy low power power supplies either. I'm talking a power supply that will run multiple dvd roms with hard drives all at the same time as well as charge your device. I currently am using it for my galaxy note 9. Even with the android market missing some drivers for different devices, this unit is very useful and very durable with the metal case. Worth buying.

The cheapest way to get my media into my Mac Book

Overheats and ethernet stops working

It gets pretty hot and after about 4 months the ethernet port started acting up. I can unplug it and let it cool down and then internet works for a while. This would probably be fine to keep in a bag for occasional usage, but not a great idea to keep it plugged in 24/7.
