    Works well with my new MacBook Air. Video works great. Only thing I didn’t like is the usb-c slot isn’t or wouldn’t charge my iPhone. Not sure what it’s for. It said for power but???

    It is very useful when you have a cover protector that prevents similar items to be properly docked in the port. I bought a similar device that needed a flush connection with the body of the laptop but the cover that my machine had prevented the full connection. This item allows the full connection to take place.

    Got a new MacBook Air which only has two “C” type USB ports. All my other usb devices have older port connections. The Air charges through a USB port. It has no card slots, no hdmi slot, no Ethernet slot. This device is a must for a MacBook Air laptop.
