Doesn't take up space

With microphones, an additional monitor and other peripherals I needed more USB ports This 7 port USB 2.0 Hub filled the bill. I may need to upgrade to one that is a 3.0 Hub sometime in the future.

Simple Hub

Most of the hubs I looked at only offered 3 or 5 ports. So for me the value is in the port offerings. Other than that, its a simple hub, no major bells or whistles but it does the job well, and the power source keeps everything connected constantly.
