I'm not using it for anything that needs to be powered - just a printer, scanner, and a keyboard. I haven't had any issues with it so far.

Doesn't matter if it is USB powered or not. Repeated errors on drives. Simply switching to a system USB or my older USB hub and drives worked fine. Disappointing.

All of the ipads were specifically formatted for an event with all the necessary apps downloaded. I was only able to read 3 of the 6 iPads that were connected to the hub and it crashed and reset one iPad and updated the other 2. I would reccomend researching other options before buying, as I just went to a store and grabbed one with the number of ports I needed.
