Ok candles for the kids. I prefer Monster cables but to put them in the kids too is ok. They serve its purpose.

If you buy a new Xbox this will not work even though the box states it is compatible. Wrong product details.

I bought this because we had somehow misplaced the original cables that came with our Wii. No matter which plug combination I used, there was a terrible hum and the display was in black-and-white.

Are you looking for a Hdmi cord for you older consoles? Look no further this one does the trick. It's compatible with the Playstation 2, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii gaming consoles.First off let me say the quality of the cord and the plate at the end are amazing for the price.I own all of the above and have tested this product. Here's what I've found. When using a Ps2 make sure you have the video setting on the second option that's NOT RGB or it will not work.Plug in the regular av cords first to apply that setting before you plug in the insignia cord so you'll be able to see what your doing.Once done then plug in the cords correctly and your audio and visual will work seamlessly. Ps2 games play flawlessly, sound and picture are crisp however, when using a Playstation game, you'll see a bar at the bottom of your screen and the game at the top(i'm guessing depending on the monitor your using).Don't be alarmed Playstation games can only run through the signal at 240p which is at a very low signal,so i wouldn't recommend this product if your looking to play ps1 games with it.But as it states ps2, xbox 360, and the nintendo wii consoles will run and they have all run to perfection with no error.Any retro gaming done with these consoles will get an added boost with this component cord. This product get's a solid A from me and I highly recommend it!

I can't get it to work with my PS3. I plugged in the plugs every way but doesn't work. If your buying this for a Wii don't. If you need AV cables buy the cheap AV cables why pay more for something that finest really work all that well. Please don't waste your money.

Decent Cable

I picked this up because I thought my other cable was going bad on my Xbox 360 when my red colors stopped showing up. It turns out if I would have done a bit more research I would have found out it's the first step toward the red ring of death, in case anyone else in my position and needs to know that. Anyway, the cable is a cable and does what it's supposed to do, transport electrons to the source I desire.
However, I am really torn between giving it a 3 and 4 star rating. I do like it's a simple plug and play arrangement that got me going fast. But since I only needed the one connection, it is extremely bulky and I had to tie the other two connection leads in a loose knot to keep them out of the way. Also, it seems to me that if you were to hook up the other consoles, they would have to be really close to each other, almost sitting on top of one another. I know you wouldn't, most likely, use each console at the same time however this would still concern me due to the extra heat being provided to the other consoles in a stacked configuration. Also, since I do not require the other leads, the cable is more expensive than it should be. However the dedicated cable Best Buy carries (any of them) was not available in my local Best Buy.
Under the right circumstances, I would recommemd to a friend.

Poor audio with multiple consoles

5 star rating if hooked up to just one console at a time: the picture and sound quality are great! If hooked up to two consoles at a time( power off or in standby mode for the console not being used) there is some very minor degradation of picture and audio quality. If 3 consoles are hooked up at once, it doesn't matter if the two not being used are off; there is almost a complete loss of sound. I really hoped I could hook up my PS2, 360 & Wii, all through the same cable. But I can only do 2 at a time if I want sound. Thankfully I still have the factory component cables my 360 came with, and my TV supports 2 component cables. But I was really hoping to upgrade my DVD player from composite to component as well. Overall I am satisfied with these cables, but I with connections for 3 consoles, I was hoping I could hook up 3 consoles at a time, presuming of course that I would only use one at a time. Either that or a written warning that the cables do not support multiple console use would have been nice.

I have used this cord with both my PS3 & Xbox 360 with no issues so far. The one thing I noticed is in order to get volume, you cant have the cord plugged into each console at the same time. Even if one of the consoles is off. If you do the sound wont work on the console that is turned on.

Just what I needed

I bought one of the first generation Nintentdo Wiis and no longer had use for it. I gave it to my family for the grandkids to use. I did not think that HDMI would be a problem, but it was. There were not ports. This solved the problem. I gave it 4 stars for the fact that I have A LOT of unused wires because I just needed one. Oh, well. It was the best thing I could find for something last-minute.

Faulty Connection

I only used this cable on my xbox 360, but to say the least, I was underwhelmed. I was able to connect it without any issue, though the individual cords are not labeled, so it takes a little finagling, After successfully connecting each cable, it seemed to work okay at first, but after running the console for more than ten minutes, I began to experience intermittent loss of video and audio input. I tried readjusting the connections at the console and TV, switching from HD to TV and back, and starting everything off cold, but nothing helped. I haven't been able to find any support online, and this has been the most trouble ever purchased for twenty-dollars.
