Auto shut-off feature you can't disable.

The main issue with this tv is that it has an auto shut-off feature that turns off the tv after about 15 minutes or less of idleness; either you're watching a show and you paused it or you simply just have it on the home page and you walk away for less that 15 minutes. This feature CAN'T be disabled, and apparently all Insignia smart TVs have this feature according to the Insignia support agent I spoke with.

Never ever again insignia

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My tv screen is a whiteout it went out on Monday afternoon geek squad was scheduled to come out on Thursday call her a do to confirm time he said he wasn’t working and he didn’t have an order for me and he don’t know how I got his number and to call that number back he was very rude and I could not take it back to best buy I bought it October 8picked it on the 10 and the 25th is when the store said it couldn’t come back and it went out on the 30 so I have another appointment Tuesday I really want a whole new tv and not to be fixed on after 3weeks

When i turn off the tv, the screen goes off but the audio stays on for a few minutes. The screen freezes. Glad i called during 1 year warranty period.

Appears to have waves like a fun house mirror at times. You can see the 8 square quadrants in low light scenes. You get what you pay for.

Wanted to love the tv

But when you using the apple like Tubi, Netflix the sound sounded horrible. We tried unplugging the tv and even called insignia customer service and they could help.

DONT BUY IT

I didn't open the TV as the room wasn't ready and I wanted to make sure I bought this on sale. Opened it 30 days after delivery to find out its damaged. Paid for Geeksquad coverage as well... they cannot repair the TV and Best Buy will not take the TV back due to being past 14 days... this will be the last mistake I ever buy from Best Buy...

Worst ever customer service.

I contacted best buy via chat 2 times and called 2 times. They ended my conversation by hanging the phone. They told me to carry the 70 inch TV to a local store so as to obtain return money. They wouldn't let me ship it back. I ended up hiring local handyman to return it and I paid $100 to do that. I am a membership member and best buy treats me unfair.

It's cheap for a reason.

That's how bad this product is. The picture quality is bad at baseline, and there was a malfunction in the panel (evidently pretty common per Geek Squad), that causes picture distortion. Best Buy sent me through one million hoops to try to get this returned or replaced. I am still waiting on a resolution. Whatever you do, do not buy an Insignia TV.

Awful with good visual

Bestbuy is Fleecing the poor and disable.

I purchase this item on May25, 2024. It was delivered on June 1, 2024. On June15, you are only hearing and there is not picture on the screen. They said it could not be returned, called Insignia they troubleshoot it and still refused. to exchange. I am disable and this is the way BestBuy is treating people like me, they just too my $555.24. just like that.

Terrible

I live about 45 miles away from the strode now and I have to go all the way to the store cause no one will contact me back because it just will not come on. The customer service on the phone is terrible. I will not be buying anything else from Best Buy.

I hate Fire TV and think Roku TVs are much more user-friendly, and as far as the tv itself... trash! Within the first 2 weeks of buying it, it was flashing green verticle stripes and sound goes in and out. By the time i noticed these issues, the return period had passed.

Nothing wrong with jy just wanted something bigger . Came across this deal, After reading reviews , I was sold on purchasing the tv. Set up was east but picture quality is horrible. Their warranty dept (Insignia is a Best Buy brand) is the worst to work with. Worst communication ever. Took over a month to address a repair. Lots of unkept promises, apologies and horrible customer service. If you want to experience customer service he’ll buy Insignia.
