Overall Good Deal

The stand is decently built and is easy to setup and take down. It works for my speedlights and umbrellas for photography that I also purchased from bestbuy. But, if you have large umbrellas, softboxes, video lights, etc... you will most likely need a more sturdy, heavier stand to keep upright, especially if you are outside shooting in the elements. So for the money I spent I have to say that I am content with its use. Overall good product

Comparable to other stands in this price range, plastic knobs/clamps a bit questionable for long term use. Quality seems decent has no problem holding up a 32x32 softbox.
Recommend if price is an issue since its about $10 cheaper than comparable air cushioned stands that can be found on Amazon like PPL (there's come with metal knob/clamps if I recall.

I use these lightstands to put my SB 700 speedlights on. They are sturdy enough for me to put modifiers on my flashes which sometimes can be heavy and awkward. The height adjustment is perfect for portraits. A nice bonus is that it came with a carrying case which also fits the " Insignia Dual Layer Convertible Umbrella" in with it.

The stand is sturdy and compacts nicely. It's a little tough to fold back up, but other than that it works perfect. Good solid stand to take your flash off the camera.

Now I got a serious deal because I bought them when they were half off, but regardless, wow! All 4 of them fit perfectly in my golfbag. Only negative I see is that you'll need to be careful with the screws, I fear they may strip if I overcrank them. Solid build!

I really like this stand. I bought two for my photography lights. They are pretty good for what I paid for. I highly recommend this stand. Of course, you can get a better one but it will cost you around $100.

I use this stand for my Samsung Gear 360 to shoot photos. I leaves a very slight artifact of the tripod stand but can be managed by making the legs come out less. This give that height of eye view for 360 photos.

This tripod is exactly what I was looking for. I have a teleprompter rig that I have connected it to and it works perfect. No need to buy a super expensive tripod when this one works perfect.

I thought this would be a nice, cheaper light stand to get into portrait photography with, but it's really not worth the little amount you pay for it. The metal construction of it is fine, is it the plastic that is very weak. I had it shipped to my house as a present from my parents and upon opening it, one of the main pieces of plastic was broken (seen in the picture below). I'm not sure if it was broken from the shipping, but still, you would think that it wouldn't break. Box had no damage to it, but it wasn't packaged well either; just a bag around the box that you would see in-store, and nothing more.
The rigidity of it is gone and I wouldn't trust gluing it. Another thing is that it feels like you're going to break it while spreading the legs because nothing will move with the clamps loosened. Had purchased a Manfrotto Monopod and the construction of that is great so I'll be returning this Insignia light stand for a Manfrotto one.

So far I have been using my light stand for about a month with no issues. It might not be the best top of the line stand, but so far it’s been working like a champ!

Needed a way to mount my HTC Vive lighthouse boxes other than bolting them to the wall. Purchased two Insignia 72' light stands to mount the lighthouse boxes 6ft from the floor and they work beautifully. The stands are easy to adjust, stable and breakdown / store easily. The carrying cases allow me to easily pack my mounting solution and take my VR Vive setup on the road to friends houses. Very happy with my purchase and the stands functionality.
