    I imagine if you had the right equipment, software, and free time to test this cable’s performance against higher priced options, you might find numerous areas where it is wanting. I, however, just plugged It in and went about my business. It’s a perfectly fine cable.

    Generally speaking HDMI cables are HDMI cables. These work just fine and are the lowest cost. So unless you are connecting something high end I would use Insignia cables.

    As with most things, the 'generic' label usually gats billed as a lesser quality knock-off. But I suppose only time will tell if that is true with HDMI cables. Everything is just fine at the moment.
