High-end HDMI cable

From what I hear, there is no difference in quality between a high-end (pricey) cable and a low-end one (much cheaper) so purchase based on your individual need.

good cable, but overpriced
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went to Best Buy looking for a cheap HDMI cable to use as a short term fix so I could view my laptops data on our Flatscreen since the laptop screen is broken. I let myself get suckered into this cable for $25, rather than demanding the $5, because the salesman pointed out the "higher transmit rate (13Gbps) on this cable. Now, I start reading some technical reviews such as CNET, and they say never to pay more than $10 for a HDMI cable, because you will not get ANY performance increase out of it, it will not cause issues with HDMI 1.3, or any of the other supposed reasons to not buy a cheap cable. They even use cheap cables from Belkin and others for their test labs, they don't use Monster, or any of the other high end stuff. And, being an Engineer, I should have known better, since I deal with wire harnesses. Do NOT let the sales guys sell you higher end cables, the $5 ones here on the BB website or elsewhere will do just fine.
