After a couple weaks the connection area was kind of bent, but it still worked great. I think if you have the cable plugged in sideways with the shorter side facing the ground then you won't have this issue

The box shows a photo however to the untrained eye you wouldn't know if it's the right cable one needs. May I suggest a comparison chart printed on the packaging illustrating, in this case, the smaller "Micro" end.
