happy with the flashlight so far. Seems to be good.

Pretty good little flashlight for the price. I would recommend.

The buttons on this flashlight is somewhat awkward, because you have to push down hard several times to get it to turn on, and also to adjust the settings of light beam. Other than that it works OK!

Not as bright as I thought it would be. The on and off buttons are quite a pain to operate. What I like most about the flashlight is you have change batteries since it's rechargeable and comes with a charging cord.

I would've given it 5 stars if the beam was adjustable.

It is a great flashlight,rechargeable even better.

It's good but I wanted a soft light to be the first light & the first light blasts out & hurts my eyes. I wouldn't recommend this light because it could harm someone's eyes on the initial blast of light.

Mine quit charging shortly after purchase. I didn’t keep my receipt and didn’t get the protection plan. Mine was very bright, will buy again on sale

I frequently require a flashlight to use while I’m at work, and this is pefect! It has 4 brightness levels, the highest is super bright especially at night. I work in a warehouse and I do deliveries, and at night it’s hard to see the numbers on most houses. With this flashlight I can find the addresses for my delivery, even if it’s pitch black. In the warehouse, I can use a lower setting to see what I’m doing while inside a semi trailer or a dark part of the warehouse. This also has a rechargeable battery which is what I want. I had a mag light which wasn’t nearly as bright as this, and I’d constantly have to buy batteries. The battery in this is a hardwired 18650 battery which is most commonly used in Vape Mods. I have another flashlight that has the option of using an 18650 battery instead of the standard 3AAA batteries, and I use the 18650 instead because it’s brighter when you use an 18650. However this Insignia light is even brighter than that flashlight is with the same type of battery! Also with flashlights that have removable 18650 batteries, you have to own a battery charger, again most commonly used for vape mods, in order to charge your 18650 battery. I happen to have a vape mod and a battery charger so I can do this however most can’t. The Insignia flashlight, since it’s battery is hardwired in, is able to just be plugged into usb to charge. You don’t need to supply your own 18650 and a battery charger to use it, and it’s brighter as well. The only downside I’ll give this light is that the beam is not zoomable, so you can’t zoom the beam in or out on your target. I will day though that the beam on this is wide and bright enough to work for everything I need, which is nice because usually the further out you zoom a beam, the less bright your light is. I would recommend this light to anyone, but especially for people that use flashlights in their work such as contractors, security guards, delivery drivers, etc. Also the light has a clip built into it as well as a wrist strap, but is also comes with a belt case you can use to carry it on your belt. It’s also a very compact size compared to most 18650 battery flashlights, which is another plus.

Stopped charging after 3 months. Very bright for the money

Have mixed feelings. It was great while it worked although a few weeks before the 1-year warranty expired so did the flashlight. When you turned it on it would go to strobe mode and that is all it will do. Local Bestbuy store said to bring it back, good Bestbuy. Then once there, Insignia is a Bestbuy house brand, they realized that instead I had to call the 800 number. Then it was off to work the next day and got to busy to circle back and call before the remaining two weeks went by. On sale it is a bit of money though to last just short of a year...there are better flashlights to buy then this model.

I gave this flashlight 3 stars because it is not packaged in a way to make it giftable...very plain light but it does work!

I wish I hadn't bought this. I charged this like 2 weeks ago, and I never used it, only tried it after charging. It worked it wasn't incredibly bright or anything, not I thought for an led bulb. So when I got this email to write this review I figured I better check it. It was completely dead, not a flicker of light. I wouldn't tell anybody to buy this especially a friend. I would take it back but I threw the box out. jUST GOT RIPPED OFF AGAIN

I had great expectations for this flashlight. But it's a disappointment. It claims 800 Lumens but it's more like 400 Lumens. If you turn it on, on Maximum level it starts to overheat. So don't expect to have it on for more then two minutes it starts to burn your hand and gives you the impression the thing is going to explode.

An average flashlight, nothing special. Brightness is ok.

This is a good light bit way too pricey, only bought it because it was on Black Friday sale.

Was sent an open box package that was obviously gone through.

Battery loses charge pretty quickly between uses. I fully charged it (the button goes from red to green which is a nice idea). I used it a couple times to see addresses on houses, maybe 5 mins total use over a few weeks. Battery was dead when I went to use it today. It was stored in my jacket pocket so it wasn't like I was leaving it in freezing temps or anything. I'll charge it once more and give it one more try and update if it changes. Giving it the benefit of the doubt that maybe I left it turned on in my pocket. One other issue I've had is the power button and mode change button are right next to each other and are the same size. Hard to remember which one is which.
