Had s slightly smaller flash light with stronger lighting than this model. I bought this at best buy cause I didn't want to wait for another model from Amazon. shouldn't have waited.

I did not like the button functions and toughness. Battery is more than questionable. Had it a bit past 1 month. And it died and could not hold charge. Returned it. It is very expensive for the problems it carries. I am slowly starting to understand that Insignia is a poorly executed brand for products. This one being one of the many.

It would charge up but wouldn’t turn on. Seemed like a ok light but I guess not.

Probably only good for limited use though. The charge doesn't last, if used once it will not work the next time you want to use it a couple of days later. And even just not using the charge seems to run down over time.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this flashlight! I purchased a Fenix 1000 lumen for over $100.00 and it only worked for a year. The insignia has all of the features the Fenix does for half the price. You do not have to remove the battery to charge or buy a charging station. The insignia buttons light up red when charging and then green to let you know its charged. It does not come with a carrying case but it does have a clip on its side. The power button has to be held for 2 seconds or more to power on. I didnt read instructions so it was probably ready to go out of the box. I always take my flashlights on 4x4 riding trips and the insignia has survived mud, cold temperatures and stayed running on high beam for several hours. Very impressed so far!! Its worth a try.

Luckily there was a micro usb cable I could use from the Retro NES
