Yes, it takes a while to charge, but if you plan accordingly, it serves its purpose perfectly. I think 8,000 may be a small amount, but it charges up your phone from zero to 100 at least once or twice. I would by another one and put it inside your car and save it for emergencies.

This devices does the trick. The only reason I didn't give it 5-stars is because sometimes I need to press the button to check the charge level to actually activate the charging of the phone. Not a big deal, just something to remember. This thing seems to hold a charge for a LONG time. Would recommend.

Xmas gift

I knew they needed a portable charger and when this charger went on sale, i couldn’t pass it up.
