The space for grip in the handle and the quality of the tempered glass are both a tad better in the original lid, but for the price paid, I couldn't be happier.

Loose fit

When I went to use it, I found that it is a very loose fit. Steam shoots out between the lid and the pot, and it rattles around quite a bit during cooking. Good price and quality. Lousy fit.
