Cable doesn't work consistently anymore

I got in February & a few months later it stopped working so I had to get a second USB-C cable to charge up my laptop. I am still in the 1 year warranty period so I will try to get it replaced. But if not then that means I have to buy another USB-C cable. I don't know what is wrong the cable because it doesn't seem visibly dmanaged to me. And I wouldn't buy the Insignia brand cable because it doesn't seem to last long enough for it being a charger for a primary device for many people.

I've used it on my laptop and my phones. They all charge fine. Cord that it comes with is very stiff. I'm guessing that's because of the amount of wattage it can carry. It's a pain to use on my phone though, so I swapped it out with another USB-C cable that's not as stiff. Now I can surf the net on my phone while charging.
