    Needed several batteries for use in my smoke detectors. According to the expiration date, I should be able to use the leftover batteries when I replace the batteries next year.

    The batteries themselves are fine, it silenced our smoke alarms for a couple of months, but the price is outrageous when compared to a 4+ pack from Target/Walmart/Kroger/Meijer. Just get the bigger pack for the same money elsewhere, don't make the same mistake I did.

    I bought these to use in the preamp in my guitar, but they were too large, so were a disappointment there. I've been using them in smoke detectors. They seem to work fine there. If you need to fit in a tight space the copper top versions are the only ones I've found that fit, but THEY don't last very long.
