The Insignia batteries last a long time. A good value for the price. I purchased them on sale.

We use AA batteries for wireless microphones at our church. Wireless mics drain a battery faster than nearly all other toys, cameras, etc. Without getting technical, Duracell batteries have a reputation for working better in wireless mics than any other batteries, including Eveready (many wireless mic manufacturers recommend Duracell). However, the Insignia batteries were purchased because our local Best Buy store was extremely low on AA batteries. The insignia should last for 4 church services (the max we'll use a battery with a mic...and yes, we are well aware of rechargeables, which don't always work as well with mics).

I use these batteries for the kids, there great cause they are inexpensive, last long enough for the short time they actually use them.

This 48 pack of AA batteries (by Insignia) is an excellent value, especially when you catch them on the deal of the day! They are great quality and really last a long time both on the shelf and in use. We use them everywhere - my grandkids' electronics and toys, our clocks, remote controls, flashlights, etc... We buy the 48 pack of both the AAA and AA and have been delighted with them.

All I can say is that if you need to stock up on batteries for the many remotes and appliances you have (like clocks), you can't beat these, especially when they go on sale. I keep 'em in the fridge to make them last even longer.

Everything I use seems to need a battery or 4. Insignia batteries last 2 to 3 times longer than any other brand that I've tried. My battery operated candles exhaust the average battery (including some name brands) in 2-3 days where the insignia batteries will last 6-7 days & they're not that expensive. I'm not having to replace the batteries in my remote controls near often as I used to. I suggest that you try one pack of these batteries & I bet you will like them a much as i do!!!
