Needed batteries, had reward certificates, bought batteries! Excellent quality and price when on sale!

The price can't be beat, and they generally work ok. But we've found that if they're left in a device (e.g. Wii controllers), when we go to use them again, even after a few weeks or so, they're just about dead. We've consistently found this to be the case, and now just pay a bit more and get longer lasting batteries.

Purchased 48 pack of Insignia AA batteries in Oct with a date of Aug 2023. Placed in Christmas decorations and find that they are failing. Test at 1.6 v in the box and drop to less than 1 v after minimal use. I have last years Maxcell batteries that are still going strong in the same decorations. Dollar store carbon batteries last longer. Also purchased a 48 pack of Insignia AAA batteries. Waiting to see if they are any better. Strange that I don't see any other poor ratings. Not what I expected from Best Buy.

I like that the batteries are in bulk. It is handy with all the gadgets in the home.

I bought these for $8.99 and for that price for 60 you can't beat it they do the job

I put 8 brand new Insignia AA batteries in a trail camera on December 9. I went to check the pictures on the camera yesterday and the pictures stopped taking 3 days after I put them in. The batteries were dead. My son put some in his Xbox controllers and said they lasted a week. These are junk batteries- unfortunately I bought about 150 of these because it seemed like such a great sale price.

Good batteries at a great price! 6 batteries per dollar. Can't go wrong!

Bought these batteries at a great price, so far they look to be holding charge and there's enough of them in the pack to last some months.

These batteries are very reasonably priced and seem like a great deal. However, once you start to use them, you change your mind. I started by putting two in my tv remote. They lasted about 8 days and died. Then, I put two in a small flash light. They worked for two hours and they died. I would recommend buying other batteries and not Insignia. A one star rating is generous for these batteries. If I could give a zero, I would. I feel that Insignia is a cheap brand that does NOT make a quality product. I will never buy Insignia again.

Great price, but most of the batteries were duds. Stear clear.

I trust most insignia products but this didnt meet my expectations.

I bought 2 boxes of 60, both AA and AAA. They die in my remote in a matter of days. At first I thought I was crazy, and only imagined changing the batteries, but three days later, I had to replace them again. They also died in my other devices way too fast. They're cheap for a reason.

I purchased two packages of 60 batteries each. We use them in our Led window candles. We use 60 batteries with each change out. Our old Rayovac batteries would last a solid 8 weeks. These batteries are very inconsistent with some lasting two weeks and others lasting up to 4 weeks. We will not be purchasing any more of them.

Not sure these are as powerful as Duracell or Energizer alkaline batteries. I seem to have to point the TV remote (where these batteries are) directly at the cable box.

I rarely do reviews. I've purchased many 48 battery packs of these in the last year & the life of these in trail cams & security cameras is terrible. They average 4-6 weeks while other name brands last 6 months. Don't buy if you need to have them last an extended period of time.

Installed insignia AA in smoke-detector. Expected to last 1 year+ as always had with Rayovac, Energizer. 4 months later the detector started beeping the low-battery alert. Appears that Insignia has 1/3 of other brand's capacity...

These are quality batteries that cost much less than the name brands.

Worked as expected, why would you pay the name-brand price?
