Insignia is the Best Buy "store brand," but that doesn't mean the quality is any less than the name brand batteries. I am writing this review two years after my purchase, and it dawned on me that since I started using the Insignia batteries I have not had to replace the batteries in my TV remotes as often as I had before. So based on that alone, I have gotten more than my money's worth.

I like the container that these are in as it was easy to open and reclose. At the regular price of 19.99, these are an ok deal, but with the sale price of 12.99 they were a great deal. The date on the batteries was not as far out as some of other major brands, but still is early 2024, so reasonable. I tested a random pair and they were in the mid section of good/green. I have not had them long enough to test durability, so cannot give another star, but I find them to be a good choice overall at a reasonable price.

When you add up all the remote controls, portable electronics and everything else you have operating on batteries, it makes sense to have a stash of batteries at all times... The Insignia batteries from Best Buy have been great go-tos for keeping the stash contained and easy to find in the house. Bonus, look for these to go on sale now and then and you'll REALLY save on getting your stash stocked.
