Using the pod covers makes it to thick and uncomfortable in your ear. The optional over ear piece holds the pod to out of your ear so fine details are lost and in a loud environment, you’ll be pressing the pods in your ear to hear it. The land yard isn’t bad but while using it, but I wouldn’t if your being very active as it isn’t gonna stay on your neck and it’s also just like having a wired head phones and adds weight to the pods as they sit in your ear.

Turns out I don't actually need them as my ears fit the pods fine. Those with smaller ears or bigger ear canals may need them. I also found them to be awkward trying to put them on correctly and line up which was frustrating.

For one thing I thought I was getting a different style of head phones. My ear canal is very small and these type of buds will not fit and stay in my ears. I will purchase the old type of buds and connect with a lightening adapter that fits my iPhone.
