Great Little Boombox

The last one was very tinny, so I went for this model. The sound is OK, but what made me rate it 4 stars is the fact that I can replay the entire CD all night long! My old player would only replay one song, which was not what I wanted. I used to wake up at the end of the CD to hit "play" again. Having a repeat function is the best ever! The only "con" for me is the bright blue display light which really lightens the room.

Fine for the price, some disappointments

Cons: radio station preset directions a little confusing. button placement and visibility horrible, I have to bend down to see the right button until I memorize what is where. Biggest disappointment: player doesn't remember what track you're on when you stop. I haven't seen that mentioned and had I done so would probably not have bought it. Overall: it will do until something better comes along or I can return to listening to CDs on my commute to work.

Not much has changed in its design since. It is a steady reliable machine which produces good sound for my "older" collection of music. I am satisfied!

Got it for my dad who is vision impaired and somewhat hard of hearing and has books on CD I am hoping he can listen to. The volume doesn't go very high, unfortunately. Wish it could pair via its bluetooth to his cochlear implant, but the bluetooth only works one waay, as music source, not output.

I had understood from the packaging description, that this CD player played CDR discs. While that is technically true, the CDR desk needs to be burned as a music CD and not as a data cd. Discs burned as a data CD will simply not play.
