It fills the living room with theater sound. There is static when it comes to the Am/FM radio but you can hear what's being said, besides I like listening to CDs. I like that it is multi functional and it blocks out unwanted noise. I threw my pink radio away that I had since Elementary because it is worn out. Great deal.

He's a jazz lover and he plays it everyday and sometimes during the night while sleeping. It sounds good and is easy for him to operate. It's a best buy for me.

Great Little Boombox

The last one was very tinny, so I went for this model. The sound is OK, but what made me rate it 4 stars is the fact that I can replay the entire CD all night long! My old player would only replay one song, which was not what I wanted. I used to wake up at the end of the CD to hit "play" again. Having a repeat function is the best ever! The only "con" for me is the bright blue display light which really lightens the room.

It wasn’t exactly what I was looking for, but thought it could work. They wanted something to play cd’s on in their garage. I think they are happy with it!

Fine for the price, some disappointments

Cons: radio station preset directions a little confusing. button placement and visibility horrible, I have to bend down to see the right button until I memorize what is where. Biggest disappointment: player doesn't remember what track you're on when you stop. I haven't seen that mentioned and had I done so would probably not have bought it. Overall: it will do until something better comes along or I can return to listening to CDs on my commute to work.

Stopped working and my mom needs music when she’s in the kitchen, so I got it for her so she can jam out while making breakfast, lunch or dinner. I showed her how to Bluetooth it to her phone, now she’s unstoppable. ;)

Haven't tried with batteries yet. FM radio & CD works which is main purpose. Works with my headphones also. The real disappointment is the sound quality of the speakers. The sound is there but at 72 years of age it reminds me of the handheld small radios from the Sixties. Again, the sound is there but it is VERY cheap sounding. Luckily the sound is pretty good with my headphones. I would recommend this purchase ONLY with the caveat the sound qualty (or lack thereof) is tinny and cheap.
