Very nice purchase to me. We have lot of cds to play music and songs but no proper instrument. Because this technology is out dated but we still like to hear the music. This insignia music system offers this one of the option along with latest technology, I like the quality and all the options and I would recommend this to anyone who loves cd player.

Look: The one that I got was shipped to me by Best Buy and doesn’t quite look like the picture.. instead of being silver and black mine is gray and black.. it’s nice but not near as nice as the Sony that I had before this one. Sound: again not near as nice as the Sony I had.. there’s like a little bit of a Hiss when you’re playing even CDs.. kinda sounds like you’re listening to old vinyl sometimes. The cassette deck works OK but it kind of sounds muffled compared to my Sony.. lotta mid range in this unit ...not much bass or treble. Still it’s not a bad unit..just not a high end unit. Features: has CD radio cassette and auxiliary and plus a headphone jack.. they all work and that’s the good news.. The downside is the buttons on the front are very hard to push and there’s no remote control...

We bought it for the radio but the sound is not good. Haven't used the CD player or the tape player.

On the initial purchase had problems with no wireless set up. One statement in the instructions would have stars. That this unit does not have transmitter installed for wireless. After purchasing the correct type headset it works very good.

In this day and age it's hard to find a simple CD boombox with AM/FM radio built in. After 6 months of use, this one is working fine. The speakers are adequate and get loud enough to hear across the room with no issue.

This sound box does it's what you want it to but you can not just put it somewhere to listen. If you play CD's alot then you need to put it lower to aid in loading and it you play the radio or play tapes then it is bigger higher up. The placement of the keys to push is not practical to me and are hard to read the function. So like I said, it is just okay.

I was very pleased with this boombox. I can take it anywhere and it really does the job. Portable, convenient and pretty good sound!

Tough to find a CD player these days! Mine broke and had trouble finding a portable one but Best Buy came through! Light, can carry it around and sound is great

We needed something that would play CDs and radio in the office, garage and other areas. It's mobile. The speakers are not orchestral quality, but you don't expect that. Good buy for the money.

Needed something that is still able to play cassette tapes and cd’s. Just a great value overall and helped me remember many memories by listening to old recordings.
