We wanted something the would play DVD's plus radio stations. The sound is clear. It also has a remote which is nice for adjusting volumn.

Insignia Boom Box

For the $59 price it was worth it. Once you get use to the symbols on the buttons it's easy to use both for AM FM and Bluetooth. Have not used the CD.
