Good workshop boombox at a decent price

Overpriced for the quality

The spring that supposedly opens the CD loading area fell into the the body of the boombox the second time we opened it. So, the top has to be pried open now. The sound quality is very bad at low volumes but is better when played really loud. The buttons stick out unevenly and it just has an overall feeling of cheapness. I was surprised at the low quality of this item because we buy insignia products often with no problems. Overall, I thought it was poorly made and way too expensive at over $60.

Not the best choice

The one I purchased has issues.

I went back to the directions and tried again. The results were the same: the channels I pre-set neither displayed nor played. Another issue I had with this model is that there is a "tightness" when you try to push any of the buttons. This includes the fast-forward button to advance songs on a CD. I am not happy with this purchase and would return this one and exchange for something that more user friendly, but I purchased it with another card other instead of my Best Buy card, and I no longer have the receipt.
