I still don't know for sure how important it is to really use an antistatic wristband, but if your going to use one, this one is well built. I think its worth using one just in case since the price of the band is so much less than the price of the parts your working on.

...already have a wrist band... but liked the quality put into this one... so out with the old... in with the new!!! Everyone that works with any electronics should own one of these!

I purchased to ground myself so I don't damage any of my components while installing internal drives and such. It works and can be used man times over.

I bought a grounding wristband at Best Buy, which I used successfully to install more RAM on my computer. It was reasonably priced and easy to use.

It does exactly what it should. Slap on the strap, button the cord on to the strap, and clamp the cord to the metal frame of your computer.

This works as intended. Used to not have any static electricity shock and ruin your motherboards when you connect wires etc.
