      This is for my 8 year old granddaughter's I-Pad. The key word here is eight year old. Her devices take a beating and this cable holds up nicely. She falls asleep sometimes with the I-Pad charging and it gets caught up in the bed sheets until I come along and fix things. It can handle that kind of treatment. I highly recommend it.

      I bought a 10 ft. long cable for the charger for my iPad. Now I can recharge my iPad much more conveniently than the short 3 or 4 ft. cord that comes with the iPad. I should have bought this a couple years ago when I got the iPad. I could actually have gotten by with the 6 or 8 ft. cable, but the 10 ft. lets me not worry about whether it's long enough.
