      You can play all day while plugged in which is a big plus. One negative: it won't sync to your computer; you have to change to original cord for that.

      Had purchased a different brand which only lasted three weeks. Kept it plugged into the wall and only connected it to the iPad once a day. Not hard usage. After three weeks the cable failed near the lightning connector. This cable has been going strong for almost two months.
