Comparing this product with the Apple product, the wire is much thicker and does not fold or manipulate as easy as the Apple equivalent. The price is almost as much, so we returned it in favor of the Apple product.

It has a 1 year warranty and I'm going to take them up on that because the end of the outer cable that goes into the phone is pulling out of the plug and the metal braiding is starting to show.

Two weeks after purchase, my iPhone 5 said it didn't support the accessory. Best buy was great and exchanged it, but poor product design. Especially when it's "designed" for Apple products.

Longest cord I have found. Great product. Every one needs one. Wish to give all stars but it will not let me but know I give it 5 stars.

Haven't tried an Insignia brand charging cable before so decided to try it out. I felt like it was really only good for about a year until it had to be replaced.

Loved the long length but had to replace my previous cord after only 8 months because the cable to the plug connection frayed.

I love the length of the lightning cord, but breaks easily. I have only used it for two weeks and it no longer works.

I brought this home and the charge just trickled in. It took days and days to reach 99%. I took it back.

This charger is not as sturdy as it could be; it ooks sturdy but actually flimsy and cracks easily. I am on my second one in approx 7 months.

Tired of paying for the real product that is weak in the neck to plug! I have gone through 3 apple white cords since the purchase of this black insignia! I like to keep extras in the house so Im not playing musical chairs with the outlets! A 10' ft cord is extremely handy since we all know it's a pain to stand by the wall because you can't move around. I also use it with my Mophie charger and keep it plugged in when watching a movie. I am buying 3 more because i won't be inconvenienced again! Thee best thickness and quality there is in Iphone charger cord!

Mine broke within a few months after purchase and it's alot larger than the apple brand so it doesnt fit in with my case.

Disappointed in other brands that fail this one is top notch and takes the abuse?

This item went out on me in 3 weeks. I forgot to take it back to bestbuy within the 45 day return policy smh....

Save your money and purchase a Belkin or Duracell or Sharper Image

I had this for three days and it just stopped charging my iPhone 6

This cord doesn't connect well with iphone5. The phone beeps like it is being unplugged.

The length of the charger is great however it took multiple hours to full charge my iPhone 6 Plus

this cord is very sturdy and the 10 foot length is very useful

Just a few week after I bought the cable, it just stop working. It was impossible to get my iphone to charge with this cable. I first thought it was my iphone, so I tried with a different cable, and it works, But with the Insigna cable, nothing works, nothing charge. I had to go out and but another cable. Bad product

It worked great for a month until one end started to get very hot and melt.
