The charge cord is long enough for me to use all over my room. It charges my phone faster then the regular iphone cords, and works with all my apple products.

Needed a longer cable than the original so I purchased this one which allows me more freedom to use my devices while charging them at the same time.

This may not be an apple cable but its more better because its bulky and lasts longer in my opinion. This is a great cable. Wish it was available in black.

This 10' lightning cord is worth every penny. Essential to have so you can just plug-in and move around the room freely!

This cable is awesome I can lay on my bed and use my phone or ipad and have the charger plugged in at the same time.

Our Apple issued lightning cable died. She had a good long life by lightning cable standards. RIP. We had even taken precautions to keep the wire from bending, but alas, it was all in vain. So knowing I needed the iPad charged plus a dying iPhone waiting for it's turn as well, I hit bestbuy.com and saw the Apple cables and was set to do in store pick up, but I didn't have hours to wait around for confirmation of pick up. So I went to the store instead. Not a single employee tried to assist me as I stood in the center of Appleland with 3 loud kids, not even when I literally shouted "I need some help over here" as there were NO Apple cords out on the floor. Only Best Buy's Insignia brand. When I saw 10' I decided, fine, I will go for it. Especially after all the glowing reviews I googled on my Samsung phone. (Hint: their phones will charge on virtually any cable you can find so I'm never out a cable for that device.). Purchased the cable (& the 4' model) and plugged in 2 iPads. One was "dead" and one was at 17%. The dead iPad is nearly 2 years old (yay Defender case) and the livelier iPad is just a few months old. Then the fun began as we watched to see if this cable would work or be a dud. (We had previously bought a $5 cable from 5 Below that took about 12 hours to charge the devices.) After 4 hours, neither was fully charged, but the dead iPad was MORE charged than the one that started off at 17%! You guessed it, that was the 10' cable. I've boxed them back up as after 6 hours both were in the 60%s for charging and selected the Apple versions for in store pick up. Nice try Best Buy. Fool me once, shame on you, but you won't fool me twice. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that part of the problem is cable length which may explain why even Apple's longest cable is only 6.6', but I honestly expect more for my money. I've lost 5% of power since opening up my iPad just to write this review and this iPad typically goes 4-5 days with steady use before it is charged again. So even though it reached 100% after 8 hours, it isn't a full or true charge, like when you use your car charger on your phone and it isn't always as strong of a charge. Do yourself a favor and get the genuine Apple cables, they might be shorter and it's like feeding the beast, but why settle for less when the price difference is nearly negligent?

This was a really heavy duty cord, not a flimsy one like others I have purchased.

It's a phone cord; it is long; it works. No drama. Exactly what I needed.

This cable has a short life span. In a little over a year it was already beginning to wrinkle up, the way cables do, when they begin to split open. I think they need to improve the casing to be able to handle the amount of heat transferred. My much older, vintage items, never did this! I had all connect to the wall with a super heavy/thick extension cord as well as I got the thickest cable that was offered. *IPad Pro 3rd gen, Insignia: 8’ extension cord, Insignia: 10’ Apple certified Lightening charger and sync cable. Platinum: 65 W 8’ USB-C 3 port wall charger with 47 W USB-C power. For what all this cost, almost $90.00, to get the best and most rugged, I feel like I was ripped off!
