The nice thing about this cord is the size. You can virtually take it anywhere unlike the shorter 3, 4 or even the 6ft size. If you want to make it shorter there is a Velcro strap attached to the cord so you could roll it up if you need to. Love it!

I recently purchased this item because it was on sale about 2 months ago, it gave out about a month later ( didn't charge anymore) , then I returned it for a new one and it works great for about a week and now it's not charging again, this is disappointing because now I have to find another charger.

I love the size of this cord and it works perfectly with my IPhone and iPad. I was unsure because it's not an apple product but the person at Best Buy assured me it would work and he was right. They also price match so that worked in my favor as well

The long cord makes it easier to plug in and read in bed.

The Insignia cable seems to last longer than the Apple ones.

All I can say is...don't get caught up on name brand accessories. This insignia - Apple MFi Certified Lighting Charge-and-Synce Cable works great. It does the job at a much cheaper price.

This is a very long and sturdy mifi apple lightening cord, while a bit pricey it works perfectly, so worth it! No annoying error messages that make videos stop working.

I really like this charge cord. However, just like the Apple brand charger it breaks where the cord connects to the lightning charger. I thought the heavy duty cord would last longer than 6 months before the wires started to show. Also, with a defender case the charger fits very snug. These things are not a big deal for me as I purchased a second one for my husband.
