Best option for tight cases

Paid about $30.00 for it on 10/02/2014 and the wire near where you plug it into the iPad is already torn as of 7/2015. Did not even last a year. I really have not handled it very ruff at all. I believe they need to make a better cord that does not come apart so easily.
