I bought this because my new car does not have the outlet in it that my SUV had. We used this so my daughter could work on her computer or watch movies on a long trip. Worked fine. I had one I had bought years and years ago which was really loud!!!This is much better

Gotta have a vehicle phone charger so I can keep track of calls, map directions when I’m traveling so I don’t get lost and knowing where to buy food, gas and where to camp when on the road—it works well!!

I move around from car to car a lot, including several older cars with different sized lighter sockets. This charger seems to fit all of the cars I have used it in. Some other chargers I have used have been too loose and fall out. Very happy with it.

I use this charger unit to charge my I Phone while riding my Gold Wing motorcycle. I installed the receiving plug in the trunk of my Gold Wing and when needed I simply plug my phone into this cable and "ride on"!

This small cable is great. We have one for each vehicle. We can charge the iphone while driving so it does not run down and saves electricity by not needing always to charge at home.

I needed a 2nd charger for my car for my twins to use to charge their phones while I am charging mine & it works great. The cord stretches just enough for them to be able to use and charge their phone while we are on the road.

This is a great charger,. When I'm charging my phone in the car, on the go,.. I don't experience any static or interruptions while listening to my music in the car,. Can't say that about the last car charger I had,.. Big difference ,.!!!!

I'm giving this item 3 stars just because I wish cord was a bit longer. The coiled wire is tightly wound and will have a rather strong resistance when you pull cord if you need to make a call/text etc. Otherwise it's a great Apple compatible cord.
