    Even though Apple has switched from their 30-pin connector to the Lightning connector since the days of iPhone 5, the Lightning cables themselves still fetch a premium price. Why spend 30 dollars for an OEM cable, or 15 dollars for a non-OEM cable from your local CVS or Walgreens, when you can buy Best Buy's Insignia-brand cable for even less? I found this cable on sale for $6.99 at my local Best Buy. Two months later, it still works great and has not frayed.
