Was a great deal over buying the manufacturer's car charger. Just hooked it to an inexpensive car adapter and we were off!

Great cable - holding up well for last 9 months!

Inexpensive for a reason

Does NOT work with Apple CarPlay
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this extra Lightening to USB cord to connect my phone to the Apple CarPlay in my new 2017 Subaru Impreza. While this cord does allow for iPhone charging it does NOT support the Apple CarPlay app. It starts and then drops it. The cord provided with the iPhone works just fine, but I wanted an extra one to keep in the car. Very disappointing. I will be returning it as this was the purpose for the purchase.

stopped working...

The first one stopped working after 2 weeks. The 2nd one lasted a little longer, but not long enough for me- 2 months! These cables cannot stand up to the constant use of a teenager. Very disappointed!
