    Nice to have an additional foot over the traditional 3 ft cord, at a less expensive price than the bona fide Apple charge cables. What is not so nice is that I seem to have to replace these Apple cables for wear at the ends every eight months to a year.

    The charging cable has worked well thus far on my modified 2nd Generation iPod Mini and a relatively recent Apple power block. The cable fit into the device easily and without much resistance and allowed me to sync the iPod to my laptop easily. As long as the cable physically holds up to connecting/disconnecting, I believe it to be a good purchase.
