It fits and charges, The extra foot of length is more comfortable at charging time.

Charging cables are not that exciting but you do need them. My charging cables for my old i-pad and my newer i-phone were just beat, bursting, frayed and tired. I thought I would have to spend my day driving to an apple store. Not; Best Buy had them in stock exactly what I needed, my day was saved my devices charged and money saved. Thank You Best Buy

I ran to Best Buy and purchased this cord just before my kid’s speech therapy session. The one I bought from “the -online -store -with -the -rainforest -name “ Melted. This cord remains cool to the touch. Works great. Please don’t discontinue this cable. My child is rendered mute without it.

I usually use Apple only cords when I use my Apple stuff but frankly the cords are expensive and seem to have to many issues. So this time I bought the Insignia version. Not really had any issues with Insignia stuff before. Well its been a few weeks since I got the cord and its working great. And it seems to be better made to. The plastic around the cord seems thicker, the cord feels stronger. And obviously its much cheaper to buy. If you need a replacement cord skip Apples and buy this one instead!

The 30 pin cable for Apple products might be a "dinosaur" in terms of technology, but this Insignia 30-pin cable works great - better than the Apple product. The quality and performance is great as well. If you have been searching for a 30-pine connector, get this one. No more shopping. This is the cable to get.

My old original IPAD charger had bit the dust. This is an excellent quality charger and I love that it is a little longer than the original Apple one. Was glad to find this at Best Buy since the "30 pin" connections are being phased out. It was a lot more convenient to just go to the Best Buy store and buy it rather than ordering online and waiting for the more expensive and shorter Apple one. Very satisfied.

I bought this cable for my Ipad 3 and it works well. I didn't have a ton of other options when I went to the store to buy it. I don't use it as much as I used the original cable, mostly because I'm afraid to break it. It's not that it seems poorly made, but when I started using the original cable and taking it to other places all the time, it broke (the end that connects to the Ipad separated from the cable). It does feel cheaper than the original though.
