Better quality cable shielding, plug-in fits better in the phone end and the additional few inches of length helps when you are plugged in and using the phone as a hand held.

Good replacement, lower quality

I feel that the quality of this cable could be better, but you can't expect much better with the price, unless you're willing to pay 4x as much for the Apple equivalent.

Perfectly Adequate

Over a month later it is still working without problem. I thought the price wasn't particularly competitive but then again this was the only compatible cable for my iPad in the store.
