I have an iPhone 6 in excellent condition. I bought this cord a couple of months ago to replace my original charger cord, since it was frayed by the head of the cord. It worked just fine for a couple of weeks but then I started having issue where my phone wouldn’t recognize it was plugged in. I would have to unplug and re-plug it several times for it to even be recognized by the device. By this time, I started to notice that my battery was draining faster and faster between charges. I figured it was the charger base because this cord was new so it shouldn’t be the problem. I tried changing out the charger base thinking it might be a faulty base but that didn’t help. I tried a friend’s apple charger base as well. No matter where I plug in this cord, my phone doesn’t charge or even recognize it’s plugged in. I also tried using a friend’s apple charging cord to see if it was just my phone’s charging port being faulty and it charged just fine. My phone recognized that cord immediately and didn’t give me any issues. Now my battery lasts 20 mins before reaching 40% on a full charge. I had to buy a replacement battery since this cord destroyed my phone’s original battery and now I’m stuck with a useless cord that won’t charge any of my apple devices. I ended up having to fish my old broken cord out of the garbage because that’s the only cord that will actually charge my phone now. It’s cheap and might work for a few weeks but buyer beware, unless you have extra cash to buy new phone batteries with.

I thought since it’s suppose to be a lightning charging cord it would charge my iPhone 5s fast and hold the charge for a longer period of time. I was reallly disappointed by the results.

Can never have enough of these, especially considering how iPhone’s batteries can burn fast depending on how much you have on your phone. A real dependable purchase.

I brought this charger after having to replace 3 previous Apple chargers. They either split, overheated or just stopped charging. All were purchased within less than 2 years. So far this charger has been great. It charges quickly, however, the charge doesn’t last more than 3 hours if being actively used. At this time I believe I would purchase it again.

Needed a charger to use in my car. Heard rumors that non apple chargers were bad for the battery. After more online research found this to just be a myth. Battery life for my iphone5 is just as weak as it was before I purchased the charger. Charger comes in handy to recharge my phone as I'm driving home from work.

My friend is always in my car. However her phone always runs out of battery. Needed to get a chord for her to be able to charge her phone whenever she enters my car with low battery

I’m using this in my car charger plug. It is fast. It keeps my phone charged when on google maps especially because this app eats battery life

Always good to have an extra phone cable in the car. By having this cable in the car you never have to worry about your phone battery going dead.

I am using it in the car as a cell phone charger, so I don't run down the battery on a long trip (which I have done) and it works just fine.

I love keeping this in my car---when I need to use my navigation maps I like to plug my phone in so that I don't use all of my power

It’s great to use in my vehicle and doesn’t ruin the battery of my phone by overcharging it.

Keeps iPad charged when plugged in but does not seem to stay charged very long when taken off charger that is confusing.

Though I love the iphone 5s, the battery can drain quick - so I bought this cord to keep my phone charged while at work. No issues and it works perfect. All I have to be careful of now - are my coworkers mysteriously taking my cord to get a charge of their own!
