This cord is less expensive than Apples version and it's longer. I also like that it is black so it's easy to know whi8ch is mine!

The store-brand lightning cable from Best Buy appears identical to the genuine Apple brand. I have tried Apple, cheap imitations, and this one, and would recommend this cable as a good alternative to the real OEM cable. Stay away from the cheap imitations, not only do they not last very long, but they can also not be recognized by the iphone and fail to charge. Different cables can also have more or less electrical resistance, resulting in the cheap cables charging the device slower than expected.

The Insignia Charging Cable is a quality item at a much better price than the Apple Charging Cable.

It costs less than the original one and provides the same functionality. The skin isn't peeled up so easily as the original one.

Cable was just what I needed...an inexpensive short, black, Lightning cable to use for charging and syncing my iPhone in my car.

It works just the way every charger should. Seems to be good quality unlike many cheap chargers being sold everywhere online for a few bucks. My wife is the master of buying these cheap chargers, just to have them fall apart or quit working within the 1st 6-12 months. I think she go's through about 6 cheap chargers for every one of my not dirt cheap chargers. Buy cheap, get cheap! Don't be cheap!

It is a nice length, works great and folds up nice and small for carrying with me. It seems to be well made.

This replacement a/c cord was everything that I was looking for. Long enough to reach an outlet and charge on the table or desk. Quality also seem good.
