The length of the cord make it easier to talk while charging. It is durable and doesn't break like some other chargers.

This is my second one I have purchased. I think it last longer then they ones you get with your Apple product. It is much longer then the ones you get with your Phone or Tablet. Very handy when you need to charge your device and an outlet is further away. I have had my older one over a year & it is now just starting to pull away from the base of the adapter. It charges fast as well. Great alternative especially for the price

There are three notable differences between an original standard Apple USB/Lightening cable and this product. First, price is significantly lower on the Insignia product, as is to be expected for a third-party aftermarket item. After all, Apple makes no effort to compete on price. Second, for this lower cost, you are getting about 8.6 inches of additional cable length. If you have found, as I have, that the one-meter length of the Apple product is sometimes just a little shorter than optimally required, the Insignia's four-foot cable will likely prove more to your liking. Third, there is a question of quality. The Apple cable is supple and flexible. The Insignia cable has a somewhat stiffer feel, and sports considerably more "memory" than the Apple cable. The original folds of the Insignia cable remain visible many days after opening the package-coiled cable and using it for many hours since purchase. This is my reason for a Good vs. Excellent rating. While this affects the aesthetic appearance and feel of the Insignia product, it remains to be seen if the cable will provide better resistance to the problem that has doomed each of my previous Apple cables, namely jacket splitting and cable breakage at the Lightning cable connector (no, I do not pull on the cable when disconnecting the cable). I do often use my devices for longer sessions under power, and the cable suffers bending at the connector that is more extreme than under typical charging-only conditions, so this may not be a concern for you. It is too early to give a verdict on how well this product will handle this issue, but at the lower cost, if it does last as long, I will still have saved some money.

Extra long length, allows for plugin and reach to table without stretching , works good., moderately priced

This cord was purchase to replace the original changing cord. Its great, long, durable and works great. I recommend it.

For quick charging an iPod, this has worked great. No frills, and just long enough, well worth the small expense.

Slightly longer than Apple's lightning cable. Also, appears to be slightly sturdier compared to Apple's cables, which are prone to wear down.

I’ve had this cable for over a year. I plug my old iPhone into it every night. And, sometimes during the day when I need juice quickly. Only once in a while does it have a hard time charging but after a few days, it goes back to normal. I’m not sure why but I ignore the problem when it occurs & just keep using it. I definitely would not replace it unless it dies.
