My iphone charging cord disappears just about everyday thanks to three teenagers in the house so I wanted to buy a couple extra cables and the Apple cables can be a bit expensive when buying 2 or 3 so I went with the Insignia brand, which I trust. So far, the cables have worked great. Sometimes the knock-off cables don't work after a while, but I trust the Insignia brand and would buy again.

Charges fine, length is good, much lower price than Apple brand. I bought 2 so I would have a backup when my kids steal it.

Cord is long, durable. Works well with the phone doesn't cause issues like the cheap cords from other places

It seems once again with the amount of people in my home, that I am always the one without a lightning charger. I was the one with the newest phone and still was always looking for a cord. Best Buy had only this one available at the time of purchase and it was just the connector since we have the block and the device in multitude at home. Very reasonable in $$ compared to the Apple brand so it was another sale for our local store from us!

Might be a little pricier than what is available in other places, but it works unlike some of the others I have had experience with.

This cable is good quality at a much lower price than the genuine apple cable.

I bought this cord because I didn't want to spend $30+ at Verizon in order to simply charge my phone. This cord was half the price and better because it is 4 ft versus the normal 3 ft cord and thicker. So if you want a more durable, longer, and cheaper iPhone 5 charging cord I recommend this product.
