Bad idea!! Each of the 2 cords started giving trouble after just about 2 weeks use. I keep having to reinsert and flip the connector to get my iPad to start charging. I've learned my lesson..just spend the extra and buy the original.

It fails to charge unless you plug it in several the wall and or to the phone. The connection may work then if you check it later the green light is off and I know it isn’t the wall plug. I had to find my old cord to charge the phone. To bad waisted $$.
