Needed a charge cord for iphone 5s, and this was just right. Have been using for a month with no issues, and having a different color than others helps me know which one is mine.

The length of this charger is perfect and no it does not mess up your charge plug if you use something else other than Apple.

I needed a new cable for my phone and purchased the lighting charge and sync cable. I like the shorter length and appreciate the option of purchasing just the cable.

This is exactly what my daughter needed for her iPhone 5s. Her original cord quit so I bought this one at a much lower price than a apple cord. Seems to be doing the job just fine.

"My Back-Up" Cable was a very smart idea. You see, I was afraid of taking my only cable with me when I'm away from home, so buying one to use while on the go was the best idea yet.

I use this as my daily charger and it's worked great so far! I've gone through countless Apple cords and after a few weeks of use they would break, but this one has held up perfectly!

Bought short cable for use in my car, seems sturdy and quality material. Hoping this lasts longer than the Apple chargers and doesn’t start to fray!

Slightly longer than on one Apple cord. This makes it easier to use your device while also remaining plugged in to charge. Slightly thicker cord too.

Apple charger cable could not work anymore and did not want to spend much money by buying it again. This one is good compared to its price. Looking to buy one more to keep it in car.

This charging cable was purchased to replace another cable that mysteriously stopped working. This one works as expected and is cheaper than the Apple-branded cable.

Insignia cables and chargers always work and cost less than Apple. I don’t trust cheap stuff on Amazon, but I do trust Best Buy’s brands.

I waited for a while to post my review to see how it would work... I'm glad I did because after about 3 months of use the wires were getting a little loose on one end... it's OK for the money...

I usually purchase same brands of product as my electronics when I need replacement cables, etc. That said, I purchased an Insignia brand charging cable instead of apple brand. The cable works fine but I find it does not seat as well in the phone as my original apple cable. The cable works very well, but sometimes needs to be inserted and seated more than one time to enable a charge. Please be sure to look at charging indicator to make certain charge cable is properly seated and is charging. Other than that little glitch with this cable it works as it is supposed to.

I purchased this because my old cord was frayed. This one works great and also gives me more length than the cord that came with my i-pad.
