About three weeks later, new one quit working again and now purchase is after 30 days and I cannot return as they did not update my receipt after the first return. Poor quality product for the price was a waste of my money.

There was no indication from the packaging that this would be a problem. At first glance it looks just like the apple cord that came with my phone but the base of the cord is too thick to go into the case to charge. I ended up returning it and buying the apple brand cord.
