But Apple doesn't like this so they embed a component in their cables which led to this cable not to work with my iPad. I returned it (good experience with BestBuy) and got the apple cable. It works, but I' mnookdevs happy.

It's totally comprehensible how this situation is not the best for you. Since last iOS update this issue has been popping up here and there. I greatly appreciate you taking a moment to share this review on our Charge-and-Sync Cable. It is important to consider that this Cable is only for charging and transferring files with Apple devices, such as iPhones or iPads. Thus, it would not work with a soundbar.
