These cables perform just as good if not better than the Apple branded cables. They have received certification from Apple so it's guaranteed to work for your apple device. Also, I read an independent tester's article on lightning cables and after dissecting different brands of cables and running tests on them, insignia was one of the brands that received top ratings! Save your money on the apple logo and go with this instead!

I bought this cord for my iPhone after the Apple usb lightening cable broke. It did work for less than 3 months of everyday use. It did charge fully with no problems but after about 2 months or so it just wouldn't charge. I didn't always see the charging signal on the phone when it was charging. I tried switching electrical outlets to see if it made a difference, tried deleting apps, tried to power off the phone, reset the phone all the same regardless of what I did. The apple USB lightening cable lasts so much longer before it breaks and it actually charges it to the fullest.I do not recommend purchasing this product unless you want to buy one ever 2-3 months.From now on,I will only buy the Apple USB lightening cable. At least it lasts awhile before it breaks and it actually gets the job before it needs replacing.

It’s great price however it broke after 8months. All chargers got out eventually but it was worth it

Looks just like the OEM version of the cable but this item is about a foot longer and the cable sheath seems to be a bit stiffer, stronger and more durable than the cable that came with my phone. That original cable wore out and failed near the USB connector end of the charging cable.

For the price, great quality. Makes a perfect travel cable.

I bought two of these cords to replace a couple of official apple cords and they work just as well as those ones did. The cord is nice and sturdy, I've found that apple cords tend to split and fray sometimes near the ends due to the cord being so soft.

I have bought cords in the past and have been burned by them when they stop working after being used a few times. This cord has worked great and seems to be close to the same quality as the original that came with the phone. Only complaint I have is I wish it was a little longer.

I bought this for my son so he can charge his iPhone SE. No issues. It works great! I am a very happy customer. Plus Best Buy offers a one-year manufacturer's warranty so if it stops working they will provide me a new one!

I've had this cord for a couple of years now and have had no issues. The cord is long enough to charge from the floor while I use my phone in the bed. Perfect length and great quality.

Cheaper and works the same as an Apple iPhone charger!

I have always purchased third party cables. Apple charges $15 for their cable which I don't think is built as well as many third party cables. I've had amazing luck with Anker and Amazon Basics, I have lightning cables from both brands that have lasted me the entire time I've had an iPhone (3+ years!). I am pretty careful with my cables not to bend or kink them, which is maybe part of it, but the Anker and Amazon Basics cables feel like they're good quality. This particular insignia cable feels like lower quality. The cable is obviously a higher guage (thinner wire) than the other two brands I mentioned, and the cable only lasted me 2 weeks before there was a short causing intermittent charging! Luckily, since it's Best Buy's house brand, they will exchange the cable for you in store within a year (you can see on the back of the box it says 1 year warranty - all you have to do is go into a best buy and they will pull up your receipt and exchange it for you on the spot!). That's the one redeeming factor, but I would still much rather have a higher quality cable.

I did not have any problems with the cables. They are well made and mostly you do not get the error message that you are not using apple products. I am very pleased with the quality.

Good charge and sync cable. We wanted an extra one to have in the bedroom to charge phone. Has always worked for us. Price is right.
