The original Apple iPhone 6 Lightning cable will fit, but the head on the Lightning end of the cable is way too large to be useful with a durable case such as the LIFEPROOF.

Now in the beginning of February 2018 it appears that the wires inside are wearing out. The cord only actually charges less than half the time, and that involves a lot of twisting and turning and flipping to get it to charge. Very frustrating purchase.

I wish that I could get my money back. The first cord stop charging in two days, the second Court wouldn't charge and now the third cord has a shortage. Please don't waste your money!!
