I like this cable because it is black and my truck interior is black. It is not as visible as the previous Insignia ones I have purchased that were white. The wire is also thinner and more flexible than some. It works well with my iphone and have not had any issues with it.

What is there to say, it's a charge cord, ends seem thin, would be nice for them to be thicker by where you pull to plug and unplug the device. (This is where I find the wiring to normally go bad). But after 3 weeks with my usage it seems to be doing just fine.

I’ve owned several insignia products before and this one does not disappoint. They tend to last forever and many times beat the expensive ones. Love the color as well, it looks like a regular apple lightning charger.

good quality product. I am using for enough time to understand the quality. Due to its quality, i have no issue in syncing my iphone with my macbook as before i had an issue in it also had an issue with charging but not anymore.

Remarks on the other cord are applicable to this one. Only difference is in length of cable. If you don't need about 6 ft of cable then this is a good alternative. My situation requires the longer cord for my iPhone. This cable works just fine for my iPad. Nice to have a choice.

The power cable that came with the iPhone I bought wore down over time... seems to happen a lot with Apple connecting cables.... Anyway, this cable is quality, doesn't seem like it'll wear as fast (as it's black), and it works just as good as the original cable. No complaints.

On a recent outing I had realized I left home without my beloved iPhone cord. I stopped into the Dubuque store to see if this would work. It did. The cable is high quality and is far sturdier than the cheap, gas station special.

My fiance got this as a replacement cable, and it seems sturdier than the original OEM included with iPhone 5 purchase. It works great when connected to any USB outlet adapter OEM or other brand (we have a generic double USB port car charger, and single port plug-in Belkin, and Apple charger). Color is black as pictured, which is a minor change. Cord length is approximately 1in longer than standard OEM USB cable, but not long enough to cause worry over getting a short in the cable. Other than the "Insignia" logo stamped near the lightning adapter, the cable looks rather bland / generic, which could be useful when travelling (especially overseas). as thieves wouldn't necessarily know what type of device the cable belongs to.

We have this as back up since we are all iphone users. Every outlet of the house seems to have a cable now which we find useful so we do not need to unplug it all the time. As good as the original.

This item works just like the OEM apple lightning cable. No need to pay an outrageous amount when this is compatible and charges the phone. ( I have an iPhone 5) I plug it into the USB cigarette lighter adapter in my truck and use it as a back up charger. No issues.

I just needed a cheap cable to for the car that will allow my iphone to connect to the carplay feature of my vehicle. This cable fit the bill nicely. The cable is sync and charge capable. I was genuinely surprised by the quality.

This cord is your basic charging cord. I have bought others to charge iPhones & they work for awhile & then will not charge phone anymore, becomes uncompatible. So far this one is working. And for the price compared to an Apple cord, it is worth it

This cable, unlike other non-Apple cables, has proven to be sturdier then most. While I’m not hanging from it, it’s still withstood fairly regular use and has not shown any signs of fraying. The connection is good and it works as expected.

I purchase this because I needed the longer cable length for my bedside table. The cable is high quality and charges with no issues or heating problems that I've had with other cables.

It does charge our phones faster than a normal charging wire and it's cheaper than an actual iPhone wire so it's definitely worth it. I haven't timed it against a regular wire yet but this one fully charged my son's phone much quicker than usual.

I'M PRETTY TOUGH ON CHARGING CORD, SEEMS LIKE I'M ALWAYS BUYING NEW CORDS UNTIL I BOUGHT THIS CORD, IT HAS HELD UP TO MORE THAN AVERAGE USE WHEREAS OTHER CORDS WOULD HAVE GIVEN UP BY NOW. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ONE OF THESE CORDS.

Not much too this really. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Seems the same quality as those that come with a cell phone. The true test will be time and how long it lasts. So far- a week shy of 2 months in- so good.

Works great and whenever I've had any issues with the cable Best Buy has replaced it for free during the year. I buy a lot of these because of the price and the guarantee that Best Buy offers.
