This cable is a perfectly fine alternative to more expensive cables. I have had some last over a year with no problems or wear on the cable sleeving but a lot of that depends on how well you take care of the cables.

I bought this replacement line to charge my iPad because the original wore out. This seems to be as good if not better that the original and am happy with it. The price was a little better than the Apple Store.

So far this thing has worked like a champ at a good discount from the official Apple brands. I tried a few other knockoffs that lasted a week tops, while this one has been going strong.

The cord is great! It works really well and has great reach so that you can move around while your phone is charging. It's also very durable as it doesn't break.

This is one of my many iPhone lightning cable purchases and this is by far my favorite of the many I have used, it's more durable than OEM and at a better price. It also fits into my very tight fitting Thule Case.

These Apple certified lightning cables work as advertised. These cables were a great deal ( deal if the day) and better than no- name non certified cables found on the internet. I highly recommend.

I had to purchase a new cable for my daughter's iPhone 7. I would have preferred to spend a few extra dollars and get the Insignia 6' cable. However, since I don't own/use an Apple products, I wasn't sure if the 6' cable would work. You see, the packaging for the Insignia 6' listed Apple products up to the iPhone 6, while the Insignia 4' packaging listed the iPhone 7. Because I live twenty miles from my Best Buy, I didn't want to purchase the wrong cable, and the associate I worked with at the store wasn't very helpful. Let me be clear, the CABLE works great. I would rate the cable as 5 stars. However, the experience of purchasing this cable removes one star. This was a rare time that I did not have a positive experience at a Best Buy.

Needed to replace a broken Apple iPhone 5 charger. This one is just as good as the Apple cable for less than the price. I've had no issues since I bought this cable a few months ago. Would buy again if needed.

I have bought so many charging cords lately, some ranging from $8 -$30. This product was the cheapest and still is working months later. For that it gets a good review. Cheap and effective!

I have gone through a lot of chargers for my I pad mini. This charger has lasted the longest so far and it's nice to have a longer wire so I can use it while it's charging.

I have purchased other lightning cables from groupon and living social, and they all stop working after about two weeks. So far so good with this cable no problems at all, and I like the extra length it has.

Apple products should just come with a cable that's as sturdy as this one is. There is no reason for these cables to fall apart so quickly. This Insignia cable is great and the extra length is very useful.

This cable is well made and is pretty much a no brainer to buy. This cost make this product number in my book along with the quality. It work just as good as the name brands.

It works! Bit longer than the standard Apple cable. I love Best Buy's Insignia products, they really are great quality and are long lasting.

Purchased this cable after my Apple one failed. This cord has fixed the problem with Apple's design by reenforcing the weak points. They also made the cable slightly longer for easier use while plugged in.

I have no issues with it at all. Charges fine and the cord is sturdy. I’m going to get another one for My kids since they go through chargers. Nice price

Not all lighting connectors work well. Wife has had a bunch of "drug / dollar store" cables fail in a week. This is still working 2 months later and at a much better price than OEM Apple.

I have bought two of these and they work very well. Don't buy the cheaper ones like I did. My previous (not these!!, these are great) colorful piece of junk is the most expensive length of string tying up my tomatoes.
