Shorter than expected

I didn't think about it when I got this doing the conversion meters to inches. So I bought this for my car because I dislike having a long cord in the vehicle. This cable is almost too short. It's shorter than the one I get from Apple Store but I am able to use it. I keep it as a spare for when friends are riding with me. Not recommending only cause it's just about 3 inches shorter than I like.
